Isla Quinn is a practising corporate attorney and author based in Montreal, Canada. A graduate of McGill University and the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, she has worked in both Big Law and in-house roles specializing in mergers and acquisitions.
Isla’s debut novel, Legal Jargon, reached the Amazon top 100 bestsellers chart in the romantic comedy category in its first week of release.
Set against a unique backdrop of the high-pressure world of corporate mergers and acquisitions in a small-town setting—the novel is, at its heart, a story about ambition, vulnerability, and the fine print of falling in love while breaking glass ceilings.
Isla lives in Canada with her family and diva dog Roxy, where she splits her time between crafting immersive stories, researching legal quirks, and scouting out cozy cafés. When she isn’t writing, Isla serves on the board of a local nonprofit that provides arts-based programming for at-risk youth. A devoted Montreal Canadiens fan, she can be found cheering (loudly) through every season.
